Beautiful location, but negatives outweigh...
Liked: Beautiful location. Comfortable bed. Nice view. Relatively friendly staff.
Disliked: My $900 per night "suite" was 2 connecting rooms, with a couch substituted for the bed in one. Wasted space, with 2 bathrooms, vanities, and wardrobes. Plastic cups by the sink, and paper coffee cups. After the second day, I went elsewhere for breakfast, because the included breakfast was awful. Scrambled eggs, one meat, rice, potatoes, oatmeal, bread and pastries. Construction noise all day. No laundry service.

Liked: The view
Disliked: It was under construction, the spa, the poolside grill, and the bathroom at the pool was non operational. There was loud construction noises going on all day long, jackhammers, saws, sanding, grinding. There was stucco pealimg off the walls. Very poor.

This resort might be worth...
Liked: Staff - very friendly and helpfulRoom - clean, spacious, partial ocean view was beautiful Voyager Club - worth the money! Includes a full continental breakfast that varied by day with eggs, bacon, yogurt parfait, etc. and an evening service with unlimited cocktails and appetizers. Good value, highly recommend paying for this.
Disliked: Restaurants - understaffed and limited service. The resort is under construction and at times there were no restaurants open providing service. The resort is about 30 minute walk to the next nearest restaurant so not ideal.Spa - this was unfortunately closed, very disappointing.Pool - pool was nice but due to construction it was extremely noisy and dusty.

Decent stay
Liked: Resort itself was centrally located and had a great pool.
Disliked: I paid over $2,000 and had to eat Cup of Noodles and a Walmart TV dinner because food shut down at 7p.

Fantastic position, huge quiet room...
Liked: Enormous and quiet room with spectacular views and huge balcony.
Disliked: The hotel was renovating, however this didn't impact us. It's slightly dated but the position and room size more than makes up for this.

The hotel has so much...
Liked: We loved the family pool with the slide and the beautiful gardens. The renovated lobby gives you a feel for the positive things that are to come for this hotel once a full renovation is completed. The manta ray viewing area was a positive experience. The front desk also acknowledged our anniversary which was a lovely touch. The live music in the evening at the cafe was excellent.
Disliked: Unfortunately the resort is very much in the middle of an extensive and much needed renovations so many of the common areas looked very tired and dated or were closed. The Club level did not have enough seating for everyone at breakfast so you had to stand around and wait for a table or take your food away (which was difficult in the rain and if your room was floors away and if you had four people in your room which hasn't a table to eat at). We did not find our room was value for money at all. We also came on a very bad weather day which further highlighted the problems with the un-renovated sections - many leaks, flooded corridors and wet elevators that weren't cleaned regularly so were a hazard.
