This was a great location & hotel for what we needed. We were spending the evening in downtown with friends and this hotel was in walking distance of several restaurants & bars we wanted to visit. The room exceeded our expectations for a three-star hotel. The only downside was the lack of parking (basically valet only) and the noise from the street. Other than that, this hotel was well worth it!

The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is good too. The parking charge is outrageous for Houston. Street parking is more reasonable and fairly easy to find. Safe, relatively speaking too.
