Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus Downtown, Columbus

This is the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. From checking in, the room, down to the valet service - everything was perfect.

Liked: The room and people.
Disliked: Nothing.

We loved our room and the staff. We will stay again.

Disliked: The awning and all of the windows were really filthy - couldn’t even leave shades open. Seems run down and tired and way overpriced for what it was.

Liked: Beautiful building, staff was great and the breakfast was very good. The bar is beautiful and the drinks were great.
Disliked: The only thing is we wish food (appetizers)was served after 11:00 on the Saturday night.

Liked: The rooms were beautiful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and the space was wonderful.
Disliked: The parking situation was a little rough.

Disliked: Breakfast was not stocked and scrambled eggs super watery

Liked: I really enjoy the “old” bank turn into a modern hotel, although the lighting is bit dark at the elevators area, I thought I was in the movie setting at the elevators door.
Disliked: I think when clean the room the same time will be nice go ahead replace the kitchen towels and clean the kitchen area too, It was left not clean at all. The lightingat the elevators area really is way too dark, I almost tripped on the edge of the carpet.

Nice hotel, would stay again!

Liked: Very cool building and architecture. The room was nice. Breakfast had decent options, wish I had more time I may have had more :)
Disliked: I was very disappointed that there was not access to the exercise room, it was temporarily closed. When I brought it up at the front desk she did not explain, only told me that I could go to an outside gym down the block. I did not bring clothing to walk to a gym in the rain, nor was I interested in walking at night in the winter to a location I was not familiar with in a city I was not familiar with. Fortunately when my traveling partner mentioned this again at check out to the manager he felt that a small refund was in order for our inconvenience which I appreciated.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The building was interesting in that they left parts of the former bank that once occupied the building such as vault doors intact.
Disliked: The building and its furnishings are a bit worn and tired. Breakfast was very standard bagels, yogurt, bread, bagged eggs, frozen pancakes, and not very fresh. The muffins were still partially frozen. There were not enough tables and chairs for guests eating breakfast at 9 a.m.
