Residence Inn by Marriott Buffalo Galleria Mall, Cheektowaga

I liked the cleanliness and atmosphere of the hotel and the attentiveness of the employees. My visit to the hotel was wonderful.

Disliked: I am disappointed that I did not earn any Marriott points for my stay because I booked through ConcertHotels.

Liked: The location was good. Near airport and restaurants and mall. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The towels were all stained, which was pretty gross. The room could have been cleaner in the bathroom and the refrigerator had finger prints all over it. So wasn’t cleaned on the outside.

Horrible and disappointing

Liked: First check in was at 3 I got there and was told that I couldn’t check in for another hour because the room was not cleaned yet to which I understood at first. I came back a little over an hour later to be told again my room wasn’t ready I gotta wait another 15-20mins which turned into 1hr 30mins I get in the room in one of the bathrooms it was a used pad in the garbage can. I booked this hotel specifically for the size rooms and the pool to which we was told was closed and been closed for over a year which was not on booking or on their website that it was closed… I will never book here again it was a HUGE disappointment and ruined my daughter’s birthday who just wanted to go swimming for her birthday.
Disliked: Everything

Sticking with airbnbs from now...

Liked: Breakfast was great! Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Description of room was not accurate. Our room did not have what was listed on booking.com. Other guests were partying all night long so we did not sleep well. Pool was down. Our windows were unlocked and could easily be opened from the outside.

Okay place to stay.

Liked: Very nice clean room. Location was good and within walking distance to places to shop/eat. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Kitchen was fully equipped with anything we would have needed if we stayed more than 1 night.
Disliked: We were told upon arrival that the indoor pool was closed (we were really looking forward to swimming). It's a decent sized hotel, but only has one elevator and of course our room was the furthest room from it and on the 3rd floor. I have a bad back and knees so stairs are hard, but the long walk to and from the elevator was difficult as well. The couch in the room was like one you would find in a office setting, very hard (definitely not something a person could sleep on). IF I book here again I will be calling ahead of time to verify use of the pool will be possible and asking about a room on the ground floor OR close to the elevator.
