On arriving to your hotel I went to check in. The lady I had was very gruff. I told her that I was told breakfast was included in our stay and she preceded to tell me it was not. I asked if she was sure as I was told that it was when I had called - she assured me it was not. I let that go, then she proceeded to tell me that the gym and the pool were closed, under renovation. I said I was very disappointed in this - my daughter, myself and my friend had all brought our bathing suits and it was one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel. I conveyed this to the lady and she said we could use the sister hotel down the street for free. I explained that I did not feel comfortable for 3 young ladies to walk alone down the streets of Toronto at night to go to the other hotel. She basically said 'oh well, it is what it is'. I was livid, so I said that then for the inconvenience she should include breakfast and she said no. I have stayed at the Renaissance before and I have had breakfast there before, but I can assure you I will not choose to stay there next time we visit Toronto which I must say is frequently.

Our stay was amazing

Liked: Very close to everything. Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Housekeeping was awesome
Disliked: They did not have enough storage to unpack suitcases

Liked: Great location, could easily walk to all the places we wanted to see, easy walk to subway and buses, plenty of food nearby. Starbucks and restaurant in the hotel. Staff were great, upgraded our room just because there was a better one available.
Disliked: Some rooms are pretty far from the elevator, didn’t bother us.

Liked: It was clean. Attached to Roger’s Center. Convenient location. Easy to get to Scotiabank arena and union station (even when it’s pouring haha). Bed was comfortable

stay was fantastic!!

Liked: I specially like the location of the hotel. It is so convenient to get to many sights and to the Union Station. The room is big and spacious and clean. Big desk and space for all our travel items and trinkets. Housekeeping staff and front desk staff are courteous and professional.The breakfast selections were quite basic for the cost. Although our room included breakfast.
Disliked: perhaps more toiletries but not significantly important

Liked: Service Personal at reception desk, concierge Service and especially for breakfast in the Restaurant was outstanding!
Disliked: Room too warm even with air conditioning Running on 16 degree, Never below 22 (estimated).

Disappointing

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: My room was miles from the elevator (seriously). My floor was not clean at all, perhaps due to ongoing construction The breakfast was very poor, really bad selection. Apart from the Lobby everywhere else was tired and dated.

Disliked: The tv didn’t swivel so I could watch tv , and got the wrong room .

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: My TV didn’t swivel and I couldn’t watch it from my bed. I rented it for three nights and two of the nights I got fed up I couldn’t watch TV so I asked for a different room and finally got the room that I was supposed to get very unsatisfied.
