I enjoyed my stay at Renaissance Montgomery. The room was great and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Liked: Excellent service by staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

My husband and I were there (Montgomery Performing Arts Centre) to see the Lewis Black performance and we had a wonderful experience throughout our stay - the staff was wonderful, helpful and very polite. I will be checking in to see who will be performing from time to time and we will definitely be staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery.

Disliked: Bit confusing to get around Asked several staff and front desk for directions and got two different directions to finally reach the parking lot. No shower cap in bathroom and staff didn't clean the room everyday and I didn't have a sign out on the door

Liked: It smells pleasant upon entry. The hotel food is good!
Disliked: The service is a joke. However once you learn some tricks, you can make it work. Always call the front desk from your personal phone, never the room phone. Ive been staying here for six years for the same event and I can verify that you will get disconnected calling from the room phone. Call from your cell phone, works like a charm. Second, call for the bellman HOURS before you need them. I usually call around 7:30 a.m. for the bellman and vallet so I’ll finally get them to my room by 10:30 give or take. Room service is also a snails pace - even JUST a bottle of wine which takes no preparation will take at least an hour, this has been the same for the six consecutive years we’ve stayed here.
