I stayed here last week for an overnight to go to a show at the Rhode Island Connection. It was perfect - very clean and the staff was so friendly. I'm kind of sad that I didn't stay for a few more days. Anyone who has a show or anything planned near Providence stay at this hotel because it's conveniently located close to East Providence and there's a bunch of cool things around it too. Staff super friendly and helpful. Clean.

Liked: The receptionist and staff at restaurant were nice. Location and directions and parking were all great.
Disliked: Our room was very dirty and stinky! The moment we entered it smelled like someone had smoked in there and my asthmatic daughter had to spray it to be able to tolerate the room. Went to inform receptionist who told me the rooms are all smoked free well someone didn’t get that memo. I very much regretted not driving morning of my kid’s dance competition at least will breath clean air. Our carpets and wallls had stains all over some look like burn stains others maybe paint not sure. It’s the dirtiest room floor we ever stayed in our travels.

Liked: The resturant was pretty good.
Disliked: The property was dirty. We found moldy food under the pullout couch and the fridge was dirty. There was also missing ceiling tiles and they were moldy. The smoke detector had plastic wrap on it. The phone did not work. The outlets did not hold our plugs and the beds were very uncomfortable. There was not a lot of staff so check in, check out, and if you needed anything from the front desk it took a while.

Liked: Convenient for the event I was attending
Disliked: Very very very outdated.

Liked: There was a very good restaurant at the hotel (Benjamins). It was independently owned and not operated by the hotel. Food and service were extraordinary.
Disliked: The room had many problems: 1. chair in the room was filthy 2. phone didn't work. 3. ants in the bathroom 4. heating couldn't be adjusted 5. window wouldn't close 6. chipped paint and burn marks on rug also no breakfast either at restaurant or hote

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Run down outdated room was filthy. Broken mirror, no ac room was so hot & smelled awful. Stains and what looked like mold or rot in the corners of the room. Staff refused to accommodate or upgrade. No breakfast. And migrant families littered the hallways.
