Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Regina, Bowie, visiting CFG Bank Arena Tue, 13 February 2018

Liked: Room was nice.
Disliked: Bathroom vent was very dirty; we drove our truck and they didn't tell us they could only park cars in their space - we had to park at another garage and pay an extra fee of $25.00 when I was told parking was free for guests.

Valet parking started off the great experience. Room was clean with all the required amenities. Check-in and out was fast and effortless. Valet parking brought our car to us quickly. Hotel was very close to the venue we attended so no issues getting to our concert.

Liked: Service was outstanding.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

This was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed at. I couldn't believe how small it was. I paid alot for this hotel so I expected better. The Sheraton in Downtown Toronto is high end so I figured we were getting something similar. But boy was I wrong. Had I known I would have just stayed at some cheap motel down the road. On top of everything, America has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I am so glad to be back to my beautiful hometown, Toronto, Canada - there is nothing else like it where people aren't missable. Oh well, you live and learn.

Liked: None
Disliked: Smallest room ever.

The staff were very friendly. We were on the 11th floor which my grandson thought was great. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing.

Liked: We had a great time

I spent little time in...

Liked: Bed was good. Desk was good. TV was OK.
Disliked: No Microwave Oven. Shower valve anti-scald valve was wonky. Water would start-out Too HOT, then after a couple of minutes of letting it run (wasting water) it would suddenly shift to freezing cold and then I could adjust it to a fairly good temperature, then after about two minutes, it would shift to freezing cold (you had to be sure to compete your shower before then or you would freeze to death trying to rinse off the last of the soap). I was there for 4 days, so I figured-out the pattern. I did report it to the front desk as I checked-out, so in theory, they should get it fixed. Also, the light switch by the door didn't activate any lights in the room, so you had to reach across the entryway and flip on the light in the bathroom before progressing into the room. If you leave the black-out drapes open when you leave in the morning, then there is a bit of light in the room when you return after dark.

Decent place for the money,...

Liked: The staff here were exceptional, so friendly and helpful, always smiling.
Disliked: I guess based on the nightly rate we got what we paid for. The hotel is in need of updating in some areas. I think the rating may have been higher than deserved. We got what we paid for. Again, the staff were amazing!
