Helpful staff, historic building

Liked: It is a historic building where you can find lots of small details. The staff is very helpful and they go out of their way to make you comfortable.
Disliked: The heating unit was a bit noisy but that was ok.

Liked: Nice location - walkable distance to excellent restaurants/patiserries, bus stations, and the cable car. Unusually pleasant common room area. Friendly staff. Large room with a table large enough for two people working or eating.
Disliked: All good.

Liked: The breakfast was well rounded and better than most hotels. You could have a hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, or cereal, yogurt and some fruit. Pastries, bagels and English muffins were also available.
Disliked: Breakfast time was too short. A half hour longer would be good. The spaces and rooms were clean but in need of fresh paint.
