Not pleasant unfortunately.

Liked: Location and Restaurant
Disliked: Room was terrible, toilet clogging, AC not working, no thermostat, heavy repairs needed.

Superb

We had a nice stay...

Liked: The hotel has loads of character, our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The heat wasn’t working properly and had to be fixed (and it was cold while we were there), spent two days trying to get my keys to work until they finally had to replace the door lock. No movie services and no one at the front desk could help us connect our Netflix to the TV monitor so my daughter and I had to hover around her laptop to watch a movie. The pillows were far to overstuffed and neither my daughter nor I could use them. $35/day parking.

Disappointing and uncomfortable.

Liked: I liked the location and size of room.
Disliked: the wall paper was peeling, the shades were filthy and one didn’t work, the bar sink spigot was loose, the fridge wasn’t working, the bathroom sink area was dark and dingy, the fixtures in the bathroom were loose, the paintings weren’t real and pulling out of their frames, the beds were saggy and lumpy, the sheets badly fitting and the overall quality of the hotel was bad.

My favorite place in Providence

Liked: Every time I'm in Providence, I have to stay here. My daughter is going to go to one of the universities and we both love staying here
Disliked: Of the many times I've stayed here. This is the first time I had a problem with this hotel We were placed in a room that wasn't clean and that is odd. But they moved us and then we had a problem with staff bringing stuff that we requested to our room it took almost a whole entire day and multiple calls to get it. I wish what was promised to us was actually given to us, but we never received anything from the hotel my favorite hotel in Providence.

Liked: the location was great and we were able to walk to places. the decor of the hotel is quirky and fun and it was very comfortable, with lots of space.
Disliked: no late night food options
