Wonderful romantic getaway with a...
Liked: the breakfast is as amazing and plentiful in a beautiful setting. The room was lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable. Well appointed. Entry instructions were perfect, it was easy to admit ourselves. Service at breakfast was very friendly and attentive, with extra servings of anything we asked for.
Disliked: The sheets were a little rough.

Liked: The Host was very pleasant and went out of her way to make things right after a snow fall that iced the walkways
Disliked: The bed was too hard for me and I had to rough nights sleep because I need a soft mattress.

Liked: Beautiful historic home. Room was comfortable and made us feel at home. The owners, John and Karen, were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Great breakfast the following morning with amazing surroundings and views while dining. We will be back for sure.

Nice, but food intolerances made...
Liked: The bed and breakfast was very cosy. It was an incredibly cold day and night, but the B&B was able to maintain its temperature fairly well. The bed was pretty comfortable and it was easy to access. The breakfast was served in a very nice room and the food was good. We could tell the B&B was busy based on the number of other parked cars; however, we did not hear much noise at all from any neighboring rooms.
Disliked: The shower in our bathroom seemed clean, but there was red bacterial growth around the creases between the shower wall and the bottom basin. It would have been great to have an additional blanket as well as a hair dryer. There was no hair dryer in the room. Lastly, one of us has several food intolerances/allergies. The host couldn't remember exactly what was in the food and misunderstood some of the allergies. It would have been nice to have had an option to read ingredients or to really be sure of what was in the food on the plate being served at breakfast.
