Liked: Location. Yup, that's a big plus. We had a view on the Sphere which was an interesting point, not that we've spent much time in the room ;) Pretty large room.
Disliked: The room met all my expectations but have to say it's a bit pricey for what it is. No breakfast (that's LV standard, expected), Resort Fee and parking you have to pay for extra are still cons (even though I knew of that when booking the room). They have a kind of designer toilet/bath but it features double door which... don't close tightly and can't be locked so it's rather for couples

Liked: The location was fantastic, right in the middle of the strip. Price is reasonable compared to other hotels with similar stars and location. Check-in is faster than expected even with a seemingly long queue. It takes no more than a minute to find your way out of the casino (e.g. to the elevator or exit), better compared to other hotels such as Venetian.
Disliked: I am typically an easy going person and hence didn't leave many comments at Bookings. But this time I feel compelled to make a comment for my stay in Planet Hollywood on April 9-11 2024.-- The problem. One big problem is the construction noise. The building next to Planet Hollywood is undergoing a heavy renovation. There were strong repeating banging noise from around 1 am to day time. The noise was so strong that at the beginning I thought they were gunfire next door. My wife, daughter and I were completely waken up. I went two times to the front desks to complain. Obviously the hotel knows the renovation work of their neighbor and they couldn't stop them because construction work at mid night is legal (is it in USA? It is not legal in many European countries). The construction has been going for a couple of weeks (not every day though) and will still go on "for a year".-- Solution from the hotel. I insisted an immediate room change. But the manager said the hotel was full. In the end I was given a 50 dollar voucher for expenses in the hotel and was switched to another room for the second day. Yes for 50 dollars my family was supposed to stay up the whole night. The next day I talked to another manager. He added another 50% discount for the first night. So 50% discount + 50$ is their best offer while I think it should be one night free plus penalty.-- Suggestions to the readers. Here is the summary the key elements: (1) the hotel knows the construction work, (2) the hotel books all rooms for their guests, knowing that some of them will suffer from the noise. (3) for the nights when there is construction work, they offer a standard $50 voucher, otherwise the guests have a lucky night without knowing and the hotel takes the profit. The business model is like the well calculated Ford scandal in 70s. If you believe in luck, be their guest. If you don't, make sure you stay way higher than the 7th floor (where I was originally on) or avoid it.
