Disliked: Some of the staff were rude (check in), very rule based and not customer friendly….this is what this means….do you understand? . Could not get in the bar after the golf as it was too busy. I paid $1700 for two nights and was not allowed to drink at the bar even though I had a wrist band proving I stayed there and many many people did not have wrist bands. Security were rude too.

Liked: Received accessible room due to booking error. Hotel quickly and kindly moved us to a much better room. Property is beautiful and well maintained.

Liked: Lovely property. The golf was fabulous, the pro golf lessons were great and the courses were super.
Disliked: Service mediocre at best and very patchy. Definitely not 5 star. The place could be cleaner.The Butcher's Table replaced their menu with a 7 course tasting menu with no notice and refused to accommodate the teenagers in our party with something/anything other than the tasting menu. No-one contacted us to tell us and when we arrived it was far too late to make alternative arrangements. The "sommelier" told us he couldn't make Irish coffees because the restaurant had no creme de menthe!Mandatory 20% service charge on everything despite poor service. Notwithstanding several emails and phone calls, no-one in reception or reservations could tell us whether the resort had anything planned for NYE.Emailed the manager (twice!) with feedback but have received no response so would have to assume they really don't care about their customers.
