Liked: Honestly, besides the fact that it is close to the Pitt International track, this place is terrible.
Disliked: The room smelled like cigarettes. The footrest had a stain that looked like vomit, and the room curtains were broken and stained with a brown substance. The floor itself was dirty. I would not recommend it.

Liked: I am not sure of our time we went to bkfst, but it was cool and I noticed the candles were not inflamed when we arrived.
Disliked: The bkfst room was dirty. The hallways needed swept and there were many potholes in the parking lot. The shower was ok , but the shower curtain didn’t go to the floor to keep the water inside.

Liked: The hotel is very nostalgic for our family. We've been staying here during visits to Beaver Falls since the late 1970's when it was still a Holiday Inn. The location is very convenient and the staff is very helpful. The pool and hot tub area are still lovely.
Disliked: The hotel needs updating. Some areas look run down. Like the second floor hallway, which always smelled like cigarette smoke. The side doors that are supposed to require a key card are all open so anyone can wander inside, which doesn't leave me feeling safe. The door in room 212 does lock but the whole locking mechanism was removed leaving a big hollow metal hole that looked like it would be easy to break into. Our first room smelled so badly of cigarettes. We were immediately accommodated with a new room assignment, it was no longer a connecting room, which was very convenient when traveling with an elderly disabled person. But it was still fairly close to our second room. The glass elevator would have taken us directly to our room but was not working during our stay. We used the elevator near the laundry facility, it's fine, but very small and required a little more walking, which again is difficult for a disabled person. The hotel is showing it's age but some updating and freshening up and attention to security would go far to restore it to its previous higher standards.
