We arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm and the clerk wasn't the ray of sunshine I would've hoped for. There was a lack of parking near our building. When we entered the room it smelled bad, like cat urine, seemingly coming from the air conditioning unit. The room was clean. I tried in vain to get the balcony door unlocked. While outside for a smoke I saw a prostitute guiding her very drunk, non-english speaking john to they're room after throwing an empty twelve pack of bud light away and toting another. However, the room was clean, the linens smelled fresh and the bed was so comfortable and cozy I didn't want to get up.

Pros:  The beds were clean and very comfy.
Cons:  The check-in clerk was much less than a ray of sunshine. The room smelled bad. The balcony door would not open.

The staff was helpful, the hotel was clean, and it was located very close to the hospital.

Pros:  The staff took good care of us, and the room was neat and clean.
Cons:  The bed was not very comfortable and it crunched when I moved.

Be careful bidding a 3 star hotel in this zone. This hotel will "snag you" and you will end up paying what their asking price was to start. Priceline showed average cost of 3 star in the area being XXX. This hotel's no-bid price was XXX. It is no where near a 3 star hotel. I guess it can claim this status because it has a restaurant on site and has convention facilities. But it is very old. I m sure it was the place to be in its day.

Pros:  It was on a lake.
Cons:  I question how this hotel could have a 3 star rating. It is was a functional stay, but very old.
