Situated only 6 miles away from the town of Ludlow, this enchanting hotel is set in its own private grounds and boasts uninterrupted views across the Shropshire and Herefordshire Hills. Ideally located within easy reach of Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire, Old Downton Lodge provides the perfect location for a relaxing break in the heart of the countryside. There is also plenty to do in nearby Ludlow, a lively market town with a great spirit. You will find a wealth of independent shops, a traditional market and fascinating architecture, including a castle, church and many beautiful Medieval and Georgian buildings. A small family-owned and run hotel, the Lodge only has 9 rooms, each of which is individually styled and includes all that you need to ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.For business events the Lodge can offer you and your colleagues a broad range of bespoke conference and meeting facilities, with the utmost discretion including: corporate meetings; planning; strategising; and corporate get-away breaks. There are 3 separate rooms, as well as additional break-out facilities: Main Conference Room: With a capacity of up to 100 seated theatre style, there is block seating as square or round tables for ‘break-outs’ and strategic planning. Large layout can be arranged if required for secrecy or individual planning events. Relaxation, Lounge Room: Bench style seating with low tables and relaxation areas, there are facilities for separation or group seating. This room is also available for coffee/tea breakouts, as well as full eating facilities if required. Executive Room: This 18th century, oak panelled conference room is ideal for discrete planning and board meetings. Located in the main house it is away form all other facilities and rooms and has a capacity of 10 people.

Free private parking is possible on site. Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable. No deposit will be charged. CHILD POLICY:All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 12.50 per night and person for cots.
