Liked: Wonderful,small, family owned stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with upgrade mattresses. This was our second stay at this place, and we will definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

It was very good.

Liked: The breakfast was very good, and the staff were excellent.
Disliked: The room clock was inoperable. The room was a little dark even with all room lights on.

Simple Stop

Liked: The room was quiet and the breakfast was good. Traveled with my small dog and dog friendly.
Disliked: The lights could be brighter in the room because our window face a brick wall, not much natural light comes in.

We enjoyed our stay and...

Liked: Folks at the desk were great. Breakfast experience was awesome.
Disliked: For lunch, the restaurant was not open per posted hours. For dinner, the items we ordered were not in stock, which was a little disappointing.

Stayed only one night but...

Liked: Room was very clean (especially the carpet!). Microwave and fridge were both fine (fridge was full size). The complimentary drinks were very nice, and the breakfast was good (local canteloupe in the fruit cup was excellent). The DVD player was very nice to have (we brought our own DVDs). The grounds were clean and well-maintained, especially the small strips of lawn on the property and on the sidewalk. Usually lawns don't look great but these were really in great shape.
Disliked: Plumbing in the bathroom worked but maybe could use a tuneup. The toilet would run after flushing unless you took care to reset the handle all the way to the top. In the tub, the temperature adjustment handle was stiff and hard to move, and while the shower was fine, there was some water that came through the tub spout instead of being diverted to the showerhead.
