The hotel was very clean and met all of our expectations.

Liked: Our room was very clean and comfortable and it was convenient to restaurants and nightlife.
Disliked: Parking cost.

We checked in at 4AM, and were woken up at 7AM by water dripping from the light fixture in the bathroom. They promptly moved us to the same room further up and offered us free breakfast. Response time to this issue (which probably was another guest's fault) was timely and correct, but I had zero interest in going to breakfast, or doing anything but going back to sleep. That issue aside, the view was great and the room was as expected.

Liked: The elevators were fast, the room had an ok view, the staff were mostly helpful.
Disliked: Hard uncomfortable bed, ridiculously low toilet, housebreaking had to be called three times to clean the room, the breakfast was average at best, no free parking, and the biggest insult was the lack of value.

Liked: Great location on the waterfront in downtown Norfolk. Clean, comfortable, modern room. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: Honestly, with such a short stay, there was nothing to dislike.

Liked: I had to change my reservation at the last minute. It was unavoidable. The snag came from booking through booking.com. However, once I called booking, they called marriott, and the reservation was moved over one night. We had a great room with a corner view of the ships and cranes. My 5 year old son loved staying there. Thanks!
