Convenient, clean, and great value

Liked: Room was clean and had a remodeled bathroom. Bedding and lighting was cute.

Acceptable, but if you can...

Liked: Good value, convenient location. Some highway and train noise but not too bad from my room. Brightly lit parking lot. If low price is your top priority this is a good bet, although you might look at the hostel nearby if you don't mind sharing a room.
Disliked: I am rating it a 7 given the price, but a 7 at this price comes with some less desirable qualities. Because it's one of the cheapest motels in the area, it seems to attract a particular crowd. There were a few junky cars and people who looked like they were not having a good life. I saw several smokers ignoring the signs saying they needed to be 20 feet away from the building (smoking in front of their room or on the balcony). Bring earplugs because there is noise from neighbors, and the plumbing is very noisy too. My neighbor decided to take a shower at midnight and the water noise woke me up. Not in a walkable neighborhood. You have to cross busy roads to get anywhere.

Great budget place to stay...

Liked: Very comfortable bed. Within walking distance to downtown and nice restaurants and breweries, however immediate neighborhood might be a bit intimidating. I am OK with it. Proximity to many attractions supercedes off putting 2nd Ave
Disliked: Immediate surrounding.

Liked: Stephanie was very kind. Patricia the housekeeper was always there with whatever I needed. Desk clerk needs to work on her communication skills and kindness towards guests.
Disliked: Tv was old and needed replaced. No heat in bathroom but was given space heater. Room had old bedspread and curtains but mattress was comfortable. Some rooms have been renovated nicely but I was never allowed to move to one after being a guest for 2 months. This is the cheapest motel in Bend yet still pricey. Booking online saves a few bucks. Guest are not treated equally.
