I reserved a room at this hotel without knowing anything about it. Turned out it was a fabulous choice. The staff were attentive and courteous. The hotel is immaculate. The coffee shop has delicious coffee. The location is excellent. Nice to take a morning walk along the seawall and bridge areas. View from my room was wonderful. I will stay here again when I visit the area. Highly recommend it.

Liked: The friendly staff; the cleanliness of the lobby area; the room had a fabulous view and was clean. Comfortable beds and great pillows!
Disliked: None.

Great, but their system ruined...

Liked: The hotel feels new and is well equiped, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I really liked the gym and the restaurant. Also, having a starbucks in the hotel was really cool!
Disliked: We had European debit card, when we arrived, they put a hold of 2400USD on a reservation of 3200USD (Completely normal).This is when things turned sour for us, they kept taking money on our card, making us paying a lot of fees because our bank was converting EUR to USD automatically.We used probably around 100USD we put on our room, their system in total took us 7000USD on our account.This is crazy, we were hopefully good with money on the side, but what if that was all our money? This would have RUINED our stay in miami.Taking 4000USD extra on people accounts is crazy, not to mention the personal couldn't find any logical solution to the issue.We were told this would stop, it lasted for the whole stay.This was a stressful experience, not what you would expect from the 4 stars hotel.

5star hotel does not always...

Liked: The location is great. The room looks newly renovate. The room size is big.
Disliked: I would point more the lack of staff attentiveness.1st day we arrive the room is fairly clean but their ran out of shampoo which mean the cleaning person did not make a through check.2nd day we requested for the room to be clean and the towel changed. We were informed that cleaning start at 11 am untill 4pm, we call at 10.45 to remind them. We came back at 9pm at night and none was done. The cleaning stroller was still in the hallway but no one is there. We were to tired to argue and decide to inform tomorrow.3rd day we informed again for the cleaning and ask for some help to call taxi for next day. But they said to use uber cause there is no taxi. So thats the last i ask anything to the staff. The only good this is the waiter guy at the bar 1st floor restaurant name Frank. He was really friendly.

The hotel was nice, clean...

Liked: Nice, comfortable room with a nice view.
Disliked: Took forever to check-in and check-out. Waited in line for a good while and at one point the customer service rep. walked away without a word and was gone for nearly 10 minutes. Was told our room would be ready by 4:00 pm, it was not.
