I have stayed here for the last 5 years every Jan for the ACC meeting at the Cahaba Convention Center.

Liked: Great location and close to the Summit Mall and plenty of restaurants.
Disliked: I was confirmed for a room but once arrived my room was sold and the accommodation was piss poor!

Liked: Convenient location for my destination. Refrigerator in room. Thermostat in room.
Disliked: When I walked into the room, I felt like I was at Motel 6, not the Marriott! Carpet was dirty and worn in spots. Bathroom floor was dirty and at the base of the toilet there was a black buildup that looked nasty. Sheets were stiff and mattress was hard. No HVAC opening in the bathroom, no hairdryer. Wand hose in bathtub was broken in several spots allowing water to spray from the hose. Floor of the tub was dirty and/or stained, looked beige instead of white. I paid $300 for one night's stay. I expected Marriott quality, not Motel 6! I will not be staying here again, nor will I choose in future travel!!
