Superb
Liked: Nice hotel. Friendly staff
Disliked: Breakfast was free which we appreciate, but pretty pedestrian.

Nice people in decent location...
Liked: Nice staff, walkable to the University.
Disliked: Worst bed I have slept on in thousands of nights in hotels over the past couple of decades. I travel 75-200 nights a year. Their mattresses are a joke.

Adequate for short stay.
Liked: Close proximity to campus.
Disliked: Vert low flow shower made it difficult to get clean. Minimal breakfast offerings.

Very good
Liked: Staff was great.
Disliked: The breakfast was bare minimum. The walls were very thin. I could hear the people in the next room as if they were standing next to me.

Satisfactory for a night's stop...
Liked: The bed was really comfortable! New table lamps with plug sockets have been installed by bed side to make up for lack of sockets to meet modern traveller requirements (it is an old hotel) The shower pressure and temperature was good.
Disliked: Check in experience was a bit perfunctory. The WiFi kept cutting off after 10 min or so and would take a while to find it again. Be warned if you're trying to do a Zoom call or something as the connection is not continuous. The pool/hot tub looked very sad, with just a fence separating it from the car park. It wasn't clear how to get the jacuzzi working. The overall style of the hotel was very dated, but I suppose it was just a bed to sleep in so not that important.
