I adored staying at the Stephen F Austin hotel. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and it was next door to the theater where I went to a concert (Stateside at the Paramount). A super deal all the way around.

Pros:  Wonderful hotel.

Pros:  They let me come early and check out late. I am a caregiver for a family member with Dementia so once per month I take 24 hours off to recharge. This was perfect.
Cons:  The $35 "Kobe" burger was aweful.

my wife said she would definately stay here again...that says a lot! :-)

Pros:  the staff was great! friendly, helpful, always going out of their way!
Cons:  the hotel should let the employees eat in the dining room once in a while so they could recommend the food based on their ACTUAL dining experience!

Lovely hotel beautifully updated. It has a very relaxing feel and you don't even feel like you are downtown! Roaring Fork restaurant was delicious and the breakfast buffet was great too! My queen room was small but had everything I wanted and needed. It was also a "smart" room - I could control all the lighting, including the nightlight in the bathroom, and the room temperature from a small box on the nightstand - really cool!

Pros:  Convenient location for Austin Convention Center and so many other downtown activities.
Cons:  The bathroom of my particular room only had a pedestal sink so it was difficult keeping toiletries organized and accessible
