I adored staying at the Stephen F Austin hotel. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and it was next door to the theater where I went to a concert (Stateside at the Paramount). A super deal all the way around.

Conveniently located in Downtown within walking distance of many restaurants and other attractions, this hotel was ideal for my trip. The staff was friendly and attentive; going over and above my expectations. Upon checkin I had forgotten my phone in my vehicle and Josh, the Valet, was called to retrieve it and deliver it to me while i sipped a perfect Tito's Martini on the Veranda. I look forward to my next Visit!

As I said before, the room was really small. You could not set up the luggage rack and still get a luggage cart into room. NO counter in bathroom; pedestal sink, tub, toilet. Thank goodness it was just my teenage daughter and me, as opposed to the entire family. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, but they were full, not queens. (2 queens would not have fit into the room.) Several blocks away from the downtown shopping district, but an easy walk. We were there on our college tour of Texas, and it was very convenient to UT Austin. Only valet parking available, and it was expensive, but not out of line for downtown hotels. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.
