Not perfect , but what...

Liked: The location is incredible and the gym is more than adequate. The roof top pool is a beautiful oasis. This place is a gem.
Disliked: There is significant construction going on next door. We were awakened before 8 one morning with two workmen right outside our window screaming at one another. In the bathroom, some cotton balls and qtips would have been appreciated by my wife. Hallway carpets can use a good deep clean at this point , and the carpet on the stairs is worn and should be replaced.

Liked: The pool area and fitness center
Disliked: The hotel was not worth the price we paid for. The amenities outside of the hotel (besides the weight room and pool area) were the only thing worth it and in my opinion, they STILL did not have enough to do outside the hotel. You're ONLY paying for where the hotel is located, and that's it. Staff at front desk was unorganized. Room wasn't ready when arrived, they said they would notify me around 4pm when it would finally be ready and never got notified. When I got there they Lost my registration so had to go through that process again. The lady handling the re-registeration I felt did not have the best attitude towards me.

Liked: Its right on 5th ave so could not be better located
Disliked: Rooms are dated. No hotel restaurant. Bathrooms are nicer and remodeled but beds and general room needs a refresh.

Liked: Great gym, fantastic location, nice rooms
Disliked: No on site restaurant so for breakfast you have to walk down the street and find a cafe

Usually a good place for...

Liked: Location is terrific, Cmas decorations were lovely. I have had great stays before. The decor is charming.
Disliked: This time, the checkin process at reception was less than warm. Lee, the receptionist, promised to alert us when room ready and obviously had forgotten us and wasn’t very interested when we came back. The room, 305, was tiny and you could hear the garbage trucks in street behind hotel.
