Decent stay in the French...

Liked: The staff was exceptionally nice. I've never stayed in a hotel with staff being so kind, warm, welcoming and so accommodating. Wow. Thank you so much.
Disliked: Whilst the hotel maintains the historical architecture and interior decor, which is super beautiful, it comes with some discomfort. For example, the mattress was an old-fashioned kind, i.e., it doesn't have built-in supports like modern matresses. If you suffer from chronic back pain (like me), this place may not be the right fit.

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone from front desk to maintenance and housekeeping were always smiling with friendly greetings.
Disliked: Rooms were musty smelling, but it’s an old building. Wednesday night after going to bed, water began leaking from the ceiling. We informed the front desk. They responded quickly to the call. Arranged for us to move to another room. No one offered or helped move our luggage and belongings to the new room. It wasn’t far, but that is a misstep.

Liked: We like to stay in historic buildings and Hotel St. Pierre was right for that. The personnel at the desk were quite friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Apparently they don't service the rooms every day. In principle that is fine, BUT if that is the case, we need a bit more racks for the towels, so that they can properly dry when you hang them up.

Liked: Stayed there before and love the location.
Disliked: That the breakfast was eliminated due to Covid. But that’s been 4 years now.

LOCATION WAS THE ONLY PLUS

Disliked: THE DOOR AND LOCK WERE NOT SECURE AND SAFE, ONE LITTLE PUSH AND SOMEONE COULD HAVE ENTERED. WE HAD TO PUT A CHAIR IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. THE SHEETS WERE DIRTYTHE BED WAS SQUEAKY, LUMPY AND UNCOMFORTABLE.THE TV SERVICE/WIFI KEPT GOING OUT.

Disliked: It could have beee a lot cleaner and the walls are paper thin so could hear other guests the entire time
