Hotel Directions

By train from Frankfurt Airport: An Intercity connection runs once an hour to the main station in Koblenz. From there, bus and rail connection run to Rhens once an hour. By car from Frankfurt Airport: - Take the A3 motorway for 10 km in the direction of Mainz/Autobahndreieck (triangle) Mönchhof-Dreieck. At this triangle turn half-left onto the A67 in the direction of Mainz. - Continue for 8km on the A67 until you reach the Rüsselsheimer Dreieck. At this triangle turn right onto the A60 in the direction of Mainz and follow this motorway for 41 km until the exit to Bingen-Kempten. - At this exit, turn right onto the B9 in the direction of St. Goar. From the exit Bingen-Kemptem continue on the B9 along the shore of the river Rhine for 61km towards Rhens. - At the city entrance of Rhens turn right at the roundabout to Rhens and along the Mainzer Straße (approximately one kilometre in a straight direction). At the church don’t turn left. The hotel is located approximately 100 metres after the city hall on your left-hand side. You can also continue longer on the motorway. Doing that you will have to change onto the A61 at Bingen and then take the exit towards Koblenz-Waldesch. Continue in the direction of Waldesch/Rhens until you arrive in Waldesch. There you turn right onto the road to Rhens. After the bridge take the 1st right and then the next right again onto the Hochstraße. After approximately 200 metres you will see the hotel on your right-hand side. By car from Hahn Airport: From the airport travel for 5 km and then turn right onto B327 in order to arrive at Waldesch after approximately 50km. There turn right onto the road to Rhens. After the bridge take the 1st right and then the next right again onto the Hochstraße. After approximately 200 metres you will see the hotel on your right-hand side.

Hotel Information

This traditional, family-run hotel comprises a main building as well as a timber-framed guesthouse which dates back to 1699 and is located on the opposite side of the road. The hotel was built directly next to the historic town wall, a part of which can be seen within the restaurant. Behind this town wall you find our charming garden which, despite being right at the centre of this small town, is far removed from noisy hustle and bustle. Our outdoor fire place invites you to barbecue and while away the summer evenings in the fresh outdoors.

Room Information

Our modern guest rooms are equipped with shower/WC, and can be fitted with a TV on request. Within our main hotel building, all rooms are newly renovated, bright and cheerful. The rooms of our timber-framed guesthouse, which dates back to 1699, are rustic and cosily furnished.

Area Information

Discover beautiful landscapes, the historic town of Rhens with its town wall, its towers and gates, the "Königsstuhl" hill and numerous attractive timber-framed buildings. Relax by taking a boat trip on the Rhine to such destinations as the Loreley rock, or go for a cycle trip along the river. The world cultural heritage site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley offers several well-preserved castles and palaces which are waiting to be explored, such as the Marksburg, Stolzenfels Palace, Ehrenbreitstein Fort and Lahneck Castle. The various leisure parks and swimming pools in the area provide a varied holiday programme. Particularly recommended are the wildlife/leisure park at Klotten, with its petting zoo, roller coaster and more, and the Tauris Adventure Pool with sauna area.

One older child or adult is charged EUR 19.00 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in some hotel rooms and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible). Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
