This was an excellent hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and quiet. Appreciated the hotel shuttle to the venue.

Great place to relax and...

Liked: We loved its central location—close to tons of restaurants, bars, and a quick ride or walk to downtown / Abbott Square. The pool was great, food and drinks at the bar were great, and we had a great time relaxing.
Disliked: I HATE paying for parking—as a line item—to stay at a hotel. Of course we need to park somewhere. We DROVE to the hotel. I understand it costs money, but I'd rather they just factor that into the room price.

Liked: The hotel itself was nice booking.com never ever use this service You sold me one room then booking.com switched it I have evidence and will contact attorney unless booking.com gets back yo me. Again this is my 3rd attempt communication

Nice hotel, bad sound insolation...

Liked: The hotel is nice, clean and well designed.
Disliked: We could hear everything from the other room, the sound insulation is just BAD! We tried to sleep but couldn't because of that.On top of the noise from the other room, there was a washing machine literally above our room, which made noise.

Friendly helpful staff, good location...

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us and what we were there to do. The beds were very comfortable. Even though we didn't bring our dog it was great seeing other dogs around.
Disliked: The room was oddly laid out so that you had to go through the bathroom with a glass shower to get to the closet. If it were just my wife and I that would work ok but it wasn't a good thing for our teenage son. The lighting in the room was all from compact florescent bulbs. Our room had two queen beds and each bed had one light over the bedside table between the beds but no light on the other side of either bed, which meant two people couldn't sit in the same bed and read at night. Also, there were no bedside tables on the "outer" sides of either bed. There was one chair in the room that was not very comfortable to sit in and didn't completely work. The toilet seat was loose which is one of those things a housekeeping person could have relayed to facilities so it could be fixed but someone in that chain didn't care enough to do it.
