Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had nice bedding and pillows.

Liked: Very nice and helpful staff. We got lost on our way there and a staff member helped us find our way.
Disliked: No microwave available. Fridge was a mini bar - I couldn't put my own stuff in it.

Great location, great breakfast

Liked: Fantastic common area with bar, breakfast and lots of seating. Cool place to hang out. Great room overlooking the city and excellent breakfast. Location in Japantown can't be beat as you are a short uber to anywhere in the city whilst avoiding some of the unpleasantness of downtown SF.
Disliked: Bed a bit tired. Too bad they tiled over the Japanese tub. No door on washroom. just a louvered door on WC was a bit off putting. Thought the price was a tad too high for the room.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean.
Disliked: We needed a plunger and one was provided but it was wrapped a pillowcase that had dried fecal matter on it.
