Very nice historic B&B and...

Liked: Staff - owners very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and nicely presented. Couldn't of asked for a better stay.

No housekeeping but nice historic...

Liked: Historic B&B is located in Saint John. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable.Breakfast was simple but tasty but did not have a large variety of food.Nice view of the port of Saint John.
Disliked: We were there for three nigths, and our room was never done by housekeeping even though we put the sign 'please make our room' on the door on the 1st morning of our stay. We were very surprised to return in the late afternoon to find the sign on the door gone (never to be seen again) and the beds not made, and the room not cleaned. We did get clean towels though throughout our stay.I did recheck my booking, and it did state 'daily housekeeping.'' When you stay somewhere for 3 nights and 4 days and when you pay for a service you expect it. Also, the vanity in the bathroom had mold and hair, which was also not great. You absolutely need a car to get from the B&B to anywhere as everything is across the highway and a bridge.We booked 2 nights and then booked another night by necessity as we were gone for long days and could not move to another hotel. The lack of housekeeping for 4 days was a problem for us, which is sad because the place has charm.

Liked: Our stay was just overnight so we didn't have the time to enjoy it better. The bathtub was glorious, and the room was spacious and comfy. Bonus bathrobes are a really nice touch. We had an early start so we didn't have the chance to sample the breakfast, but we received two breakfast bags with nice healthy goods. I think someone beat us to the bananas as we only found the note to help ourselves to them.
