It was at a great location. Rooms all faced the ocean, we couldn't have asked for more. The only con was the standard beds. We would have preferred a queen or king but was told that from Priceline we got a standard room so that was our only con but the bed was comfortable.

Pros:  The receptionist when we checked in was very helpful. She was friendly and very accommodating. She recommended a couple of restaurants and we went to one of her recommendations and it was great.
Cons:  Everything was great.

The staff were fantastic. Crystal at the Lobby Desk, was excellent at trying to accommodate guests' needs. Most other guests were pleasant. There was some yelling in the hallways late at night by other guests. I highly recommend the Virginia Aquarium and Science Exhibition Center which is nearby. Good restaurant in the facility with Tim Payne sharing knowledge of the local community with guests - breakfasts were my favorite! Plenty of other eateries nearby. Wish there had been a separate pool for adults - too many kids in the pool to swim laps. Also wish the "hot tub" was hot! Too cold in late March to swim in the ocean. By far, the best experience I've had in Virginia Beach! Wishing I could live there! I'm going back to this hotel as soon as I can!

Pros:  The hotel sits directly on the sandy beach with the Atlantic Ocean whooshing one to sleep. Tim Payne (Dining Room) and Crystal (Lobby Desk) were AMAZING at accommodating guests and making them feel incredibly important. I stayed an extra night!
Cons:  Other rude guests - some yelling in the hallways late at night. Too many kids in the pool.
