From out of state and not knowing how big New York is the staff was very good at getting me to where I needed to be when I needed to be there, as well as doing some extra fun stuff. I definitely appreciate how well versed the staff is and would certainly recommend it to anyone else.

Disliked: Curtain was stuck halfway down, cupboards very dusty, shower curtain didn’t reach the ground so bathroom was drenched after a shower and staff not overly welcoming

Liked: The water was hot enough for the 2 of us to shower. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: I didn’t like that there was no parking. It was a tight spot. The room smelled. The shower had really bo pressure. The room tight, and with internet tv you would think you had a better line up.

This hotel thrives on location....

Liked: The staff was welcoming. They also had snack at reception free of charge, if you wake up early enough to grab some. The beds were comfortable. I would say that you can spend a few days there, not a whole week though.
Disliked: I was in a double room on the 11th floor - room 1103. The beds were comfortable but the room was too small for 3 people. The reception area is small as well. There was also mold in the shower area. On the first day, our sink was blocked and the water was running down too slowly so we had to call someone at reception, but that person only used a plunger, no product. So the sink was blocked for the whole stay. Also, no you will not have a nice view - we had a view of another building, a really close view, so if you don't close your blinds you can see each other. I would say that you can spend a few days there, not a whole week though , I would not recommend.

Liked: The hotel location was excellent. We came from Thailand and we could find a lot of Asian food near by the hotel with the good taste and price. Hotel bed were excellent too. We easily slept every day after travel whole day in the city.
Disliked: Room a bit too small. We needed manging our stuff within the limited space. But the rest is totally fine.

Outdated. Not worth the price.

Liked: Very good location, close to subways and oculus train station.
Disliked: Not the usual Holiday Inn standards. The room was smelling dampness, there was a leak in the shower, and the overall room/hotel is outdated. They don’t top up tea and coffee in the room, you need to ask the receptionist yourself. The price is far too expensive for what it is.
