Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem Downtown West, Winston Salem

Hotel was very convenient to great restaurants and RJ Auditorium. Breakfast was great; hotel was older but clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Good stay.

Beds were big and comfortable; close to many amenities; parking lot had good lighting,. The weekend we stayed, there was a big crowd for breakfast - staff offered to let us eat in another room. Coffee strong and always available.

Love it and be back...

Liked: I love how clean the room, bathroom, lobby, breakfast area and everywhere that part of the hotel. Perfect size for the family of four for the room that we booked. Staff are nice but most especially the black guy from breakfast area. He was doing so great at his work. Very attentive and helpful and friendly as well.
Disliked: I recommend that if you plan to ask for late check out make sure that you are a rewards members which I didn't know. They only offer late check out exclusively to their members.

Liked: Hospital was close by, also loved that there was other restaurants and stores near by.
Disliked: No vending machines on the floor I was on.

Disliked: Yes the room it looked like was not it it was supposed to been a love seat wit the king room. It was a one seater NO LOVE SEAT..

Exceptional

Liked: The room was spacious and clean, no problems with the room itself even had a chaise longue in it! It was the best hotel I have ever stayed in in my opinion
Disliked: The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the the bed mattress it was a little on the hard side but other than that everything was perfect!

Liked: Room was very clean and modern; breakfast was good.
Disliked: No

Liked: The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was a welcome change.
Disliked: As welcome as the breakfast was it was cold. I really wasn't a major issue because 45 secs in the microwave solved the problem.

Disliked: YES! The elevator made so much noise it was impossible to get a full/steady/complete night of sleep. Every time the elevator moved, the noise reverberated through the walls & the headboard in my room would vibrate. It sounded exactly like my alarm at home
