I called this hotel a few times prior to our stay, requesting earlier check in times and then later trying to combine reservations. They were always very friendly and willing to work with my requests. The hotel was quiet, very clean and not overpriced. We enjoyed our stay here.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone seeing a concert at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston. Very easy to get to - ten minute drive.

Liked: Comfy bed; clean and smell-free room; generous and helpful staff.
Disliked: No mini fridge; at breakfast the apples were dry. Sausage gravy tasted watery, no pancakes or waffles or bacon. :(

Disliked: I didn’t like that I was charged twice. I was with my daughter for her dance competition and it over drafted my account. I was stuck without money for food, gas and souvenirs all weekend. There wasn’t even a manager there when it happened so no one to talk to about it. I was told there was nothing they could do. I have to come down in the morning to talk to someone, call my bank, email a the manager, and wait 5-7 days to get my money back. I came down in the morning still no manager and the lady at the front desk was very rude. So being away from home with my daughter for a weekend was awful.
