Great room - HORRIBLE experience

Liked: The room was clean and check-in / check-out were simple.
Disliked: My partner and I were expecting a nice relaxing getaway. However, there was a children's sport event taking place and the entire hotel was over-run with kiddos. The children aren't the issue. The issue is that they had taken over the pool and hottub the entire time (from when it opened to when it closed) and we're diving, splashing and not giving anyone a chance to come in and enjoy the amenities which is the main reason we chose this hotel. We figured if we can't relax in the hottub, let's just relax in the room. Nope! Kids were screaming, banging and running down the hallways until AFTER 11 pm. It was incredible that no one was stepping in out of respect for other guests. I'm usually not one to complain but I believe this all could've been avoided if my partner and I were made aware of this event upon check-in. We would have simple chose a different hotel. But no one said anything, at anytime. This is absolutely something that should be mentioned to guests upon arrival.

Liked: Breakfast was decent. Kept running out of eggs and sausage but it seemed like the ladies would bring out new batches as soon as they were ready.
Disliked: Came specifically for the pool and hot tub for my daughter's birthday, got to use the pool a little bit the night that we checked in, then there were people drinking in the pool room and somebody puked in the pool so we could not use the pool/ hot tub at all again for the rest of our stay which was our main purpose for checking into this hotel. I spoke to the lady at the front desk about it and she didn't really seem to care all she kept saying over and over again was it wouldn't be ready until at least tomorrow and there was nothing she could do to make the situation better. Also was on the first floor, and until after midnight there were young children running and screaming all past our door and seem to be no adult supervision.
