Great hotel and a stone's throw from the Sphere. U2 rocks!

Liked: The Holiday Inn Vacation Club is located right next door to Sphere. This is the main draw of this hotel. Our room, building 11 Room 306 looked directly at the sphere from the balcony. Upon check in there was a mix up with our room and the WONDERFUL front desk person Danny fixed the problem and even gave us a better room than expected, We couldn't have been happier with Danny and he really started our expereince at the resort on a very positive note. The room we choose was the two bedroom studio with the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped with all dishes and utensils, a full size fridge, oven and range combo, dishwasher and microwave. The two king beds were clean and confortable. There was a nice pool, hot tub and game room just down the stairs from our apartment. The unit also included a full size washer and dryer. There was free parking on site. The Strip was a 10-15 minute easy walk. We enjoyed the quiet vibes of the resort. Being off strip was a plus and we saved some money by shopping and using the kitchen. I'm not sure if there is another choice for seeing shows at Sphere.
Disliked: The only negative was that it is a timeshare and they try and get you to do a presentation upon check in and another timeshare salesman called my room and wouldn't take no for an answer and was very rude. I had to hang up on him. Thankfully he stopped calling.

Liked: The location was very good. Easy to cut thru the Venetian to get to the strip.
Disliked: No buffet options available. Restaurant only

My moms 80th birthday getaway with my sister, myself and mom. The 3 girls together. Beautiful trip!!

Liked: The place was absolutely beautiful. Room was very spacious, had everything we needed. The pull out sofa bed had a comfy mattress. Very clean . Got clean towels, garbage emptied everyday......Close to the trip.....restaurants....
Disliked: The only thing I have to say that I disliked , was the time share meeting arrangements. I agreed to go for 11:30am. Get there , waited until 11:55am . Which your time starts when your name is called . It was longer then expected . Was not told this until you get there. They want to see your credit card first, which I feel is not right. Want to now how much money you make. They are very pushy on their own terms. You need to make a decision right on the spot to get their perks of the sale. I do not make decisions on the spot like that. I feel for the older folks , being pushed into something you dont know much about. They sure know the tricks , on how to make a sale. The lady I had spent to much time talking about her own family and life. To many times going from one room to the other and waiting for other staff. I was by myself as my husband was not with me and was told it was only a curtesy for them to take me. Was told I should not have been chosen. Then the lady said she used her voice all this time with me that was not considered a real time share meeting. Whatever.
