Super close to Market Street dining and shopping. Clean; lobby is beautiful and boutique-like; parking garage is attached. Very pleasant and, for San Francisco, priced fairly. It was what I expected from a Holiday Inn Resort.

Disliked: No mini fridge; bed was way too firm for me; a bit noisy, but they give earplugs.

Liked: Everyone that I encountered (staff) at the hotel were very professional, friendly, and willing to help. The lobby was kept clean at all times.
Disliked: None.

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are going to see a concert at the Civic Center. Clean; cheery, helpful, friendly staff; good price; well decorated room; comfy bed and pillows. Convenient location.

Liked: The staff here was lovely and very helpful. Really made us feel welcomed.
Disliked: The cleanliness, there was lots of things that didn’t seem right. From the lack of animates, to very poor cleanliness. Upon arrival there were towels in the shower that were used and wet. Shower gel and shampoos were completely empty as well. The carpet looked like it was vomited on close to the tv stand with wall spatter to go with the stained carpet. The bed, the bed was a great idea then Murphy bed made the room look so much bigger, however there was wood chipping from the bed frame all over the carpet and behind the bed Frame. Closing the bed up caused the debris from the wood to left up. Finally, the furniture is very minimalistic and so it’s the expectation of comfort. From the night stand to the 2 movable wool based tables the rooms simply looks unorganized used up and very poorly cleaned.

Standard One Night Stay

Liked: Overall, the hotel is pretty standard. Not much in the lobby, but it did have a place to lounge. I did like that the front desk staff were helpful and that security staff seemed attentive to people entering the lobby. The rooms are standard, if not a bit used. I think the carpet color does not help to hide the use. The hotel is reasonably priced for San Francisco, but it is very near the Tenderloin, so the exterior activity can potentially make some people uncomfortable. Don't expect glamour, but the bed was comfortable and we felt safe inside.
Disliked: I think for this hotel they should offer a better price on parking. Of course, this hotel has very limited amenities and did not even have a place where you could easily purchase bottled water. The surroundings outside the hotel can be disturbing for some people.

Disliked: They advertise on here free breakfast but in fact was not free but they did have a cafe you can buy from. Also you will be hit with $65 parking which is not advertised you are told when you get there unfortunately.

Liked: I liked that you could go from the parking garage straight to your room floor
Disliked: The location was a bad area, so parking on the street wasn’t an option but 60$ a night to park is ridiculous being that I’m already a paying customer there should be some sort of discount I might as well parked on the street and if someone broke in it would be cheaper to get the window fixed than paying for parking. The room was very minimal and bare/ boring the sheet had a really big what I think was blood stain as well as the cotton coming out of the comforter, the floor needed to be vacuumed. Also before I booked it said there was a bar in the lobby but come to find out the bar was closed and I was told it’s only really open when they have conferences at the hotel.
