Hilton Orange County-Costa Mesa, Costa Mesa

This hotel was not a good experience for the money I paid for one night. Power out as I checked in, which they did not tell me. Someone was stuck in the elevator, the air conditioning system was poor, no ice at the machines and, had to wait for it to be brought up.

Liked: The bed was comfortable at least.
Disliked: Upon checking in, the hotel receptionist did not tell me the power was out and a lady was stuck in the elevator. They had NO staircase to use upon emergency, we had to go through the kitchen and back way to get to our room. The air conditioning sucked so it was hot inside our room all night, and I had to wait for ice which they did bring me but it was a tiny bag.

The valet was great but expensive to park. Room service was quick. It was OK for a quick weekend trip.

Liked: The hotel was very spacious.
Disliked: The room we stayed in had a loud noise all night like someone was using a vacuum - very annoying. Also, the TV had no menu/guide button. You had to scroll through every channel just to see what was on.

We ordered sandwiches at 11:35 and had to call back only to find out that the chef had no more food - cookies and chips is what we were offered. We should have gotten a call back immediately after to notify us that there wasn't any food available.

Liked: The rooms were well maintained; hospitality was good.

Never stay at a hilton...

Disliked: Dirty Hotel, charged more than the room becuase of spilt wine

Stay away and save money...

Disliked: 2am noise starts sounds like a generator is running all night long. You have to pay for parking and breakfast, with the price of the rooms you would think that would be included. Such a horrible experience I will never stay there again

It was not the best,...

Liked: Prior to check in, I called spoke to Carolina, she was very nice and helpful, Good location, Nice Loby, partial covered garage parking, my kids room had pool/city view.
Disliked: Front reception, Marissa did not provide good customer service (she was not polite at all), the hallway window on the 4th floor was open the entire time, it was raining, very cold, I mentioned to the cleaning lady, said they need to fix it (but they didn't). There was a noise (AC or loud machine sound by our room)

Disliked: After 14 days stay The hotel charges for two bottles of water per day, but if they were placed in the fridge, two bottles are complimentary for the day, and any additional bottles cost 5$

Liked: The staff was excellent
Disliked: Our room had no heat and it was cold the first night the rest of the week after they fixed, we had no air at all ☹️
