Pro: friendly staff. Con: literally everything else. Had a long wait for room. Once in room, room was dusty and not vacuumed. Commode did not flush. Asked for maintenance twice. Did not fix. Had to use lobby bathroom. No soap in lobby bathroom. No coffee cups nor coffee supplies in room. The staff was nice and waved my valet fee. However I reached out multiple times to corporate because I feel like my entire stay should be refunded, however they have not returned my messages.

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: The entire hotel.

Everyone was great. The receptionists, the restaurant workers, the valets, etc. - not a bad word to say about any of them. Only negative is the downtown area is rundown with a lot of empty buildings but that has nothing to do with the hotel and their service.

Rooms were very nice, staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall everything was very clean and well kept. Dinner was awesome. Shuttle was nice and clean. They had no problem taking us to Hal and Mal's and when we requested the time we wanted them to take us, they were prompt and not late. Downtown area around hotel was very nice and clean. Kudos! Keep up the good work - I will be back.

Liked: All hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there and it was amazing. I would highly reccommend Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Jackson to any and everyone!

Shelby was our valet and he was great - delivered our bags to room and took us to and from concert at Thalia Mara Hall. Food in Grill was excellent. Room was very nice. Needed more guidance about breakfast - wasn't sure how to dine in or take to our room - we thought it was complimentary but hostess stopped us to give us a ticket. It was embarrassing because we didn't realize the procedure. All in all, great stay in your hotel. Hope to stay there again some day!

Liked: Ms. Annie! She was the nicest, caring, warm and friendly person. She addressed every concern and want for our group for the week. It was such a pleasure meeting her.
Disliked: Paying 28.00 per night to park was disappointing.

Liked: The room was quiet and reasonably clean although it could have used a deeper vacuuming.
Disliked: Location is on the edge of downtown which is almost entirely government and other buildings. It felt dead and sterile. Overnight parking was only available for $28 valet service. Breakfast was $15 (which we declined).

Liked: The entrance of the hotel is spectacular! It's picture perfect if you want to take pictures.
Disliked: The carpet in my hotel room (531) was stained with old "blood" or something red. I reported it and maintenance attempted to clean it and left the floor wet. We were absolutely exhausted when we returned and covered it up with towels. It was Disgusting!

Disappointed and disgusted!! Never Again.

Liked: Was to have a hot tub and a pool. Only reason I booked with this hotel.
Disliked: The pool was closed but they opened it. The pool had no heater and the hot tub was cold . The bathroom toilet leaked the coffee pot didn’t work. They only had two towels and I had booked two beds for four people. The key had to be re done three times to open any of the doors. Plus they had a half roll of toilet paper and no other tissue I. The bathroom. Very cheap , no pride from the house keepers.

Overall, the stay was fair.

Liked: The deform was nice upon entering the hotel. The staff members were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: The air conditioner in the room did not work properly. So, my family and I slept hot and uncomfortable. We had to operate with one room key. Upon request, it took some time to receive clean towels.
