This hotel is decent and close to the casino, staff was extremely friendly and great at making you feel "right at home". Breakfast was decent not sure I would coin it "deluxe continental breakfast" as advertised, but overall it was good! I think for this "basic" room the price should be a bit lower, though I would stay again. I didn't take advantage of the shuttle to the casino - last trip back was 10pm....I stay much later than that LOL. But it is only 4 miles away so driving isnt much of an issue! Thanks for the hospitality!

My husband and I were very happy with all aspects of the Hilltop Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with towels, etc. The shuttle service was a pleasure...on time and it brought us right to the door of the casino. We will definitely stay there on our future visits to Foxwoods. Thanks!

Liked: Room was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and enough hot water. The cleaning personal were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The front office was pretty mean and had no patience. It just wasn't myself, but to other people staying there. When ever I was in the front office, only a few times, the front office staff was very demeaning to other people.

Liked: Close to Foxwoods.
Disliked: Was supposed to be a non-smoking room but smelt like someone had smoked a cigar. Wanted a king size bed but had to get a two queen because we wanted a private bathroom. Staff were very nice.

Disliked: HAD NO HOT WATER TAKE A SHOWER AND WHEN WE TOLD THE GENTLEMAN AT CHECKOUT HE LAUGHED IT OFF! WHEN YOU PAY FOR A ROOM YOU EXPECT HOT WATER. WE DESERVE SOME TYPE OF CREDIT FOR THIS UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!!

Liked: I really love the location, and the outside of the building was really well kept and beautiful. The staff at the desk were extremely helpful and pleasant, afternoon, and in the morning.
Disliked: Our room wasn’t very clean, it looked pretty rough in there. I didn’t mind that much until I crawled into bed and it was really sticky as if something had spilled in the bedding, that was pretty upsetting. I just makes you think right away that the bedding isn’t washed after every stay etc.. I will definitely be looking for a different option time I am in that area.

Liked: Room was clean. Maid was great! Candace was fantastic at the front desk! Excellent customer service. Always very helpful. Dom on the other hand was down right RUDE! Not helpful & had a personality of a box of rocks. Having been in customer service for 30 years& manage people, I would fire him.
Disliked: I wanted a cup of coffee at 10:45am & I was told that the coffee machine was being cleaned, end of story. I understand that equipment needs to be cleaned. Dom was in no way apologetic or offering another option. Could have been as easy as saying “sorry, the coffee machine will be clean in 15 minutes, please feel free to come back” but he could not be bothered.

Great place to crash while...

Liked: The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great. The shuttle service was so easy and convenient. Makes so much more sense to stay here than break the bank staying at the casino.
Disliked: Mattress was a little uncomfortable, but hotel mattresses usually aren't the best
