Nice room; friendly staff. Went to the show at the Verizon venue about 4 miles away. Good times.

noisy, old A/C units, plumbing...
Liked: The beds were comfortable. Complimentary snack in the evening was a nice touch. Large rooms.
Disliked: We especially picked this hotel although it was a bit more expensive than the others nearby because we thought it would have soundproofing and was further away from the highway and would therefore be quieter than the others. But that was not the case.Even though they gave us a quieter room at the back you could hear loud street noise from outside. Probably because of the old and also noisy A/C units built in the outside walls.There were renovations in the room opposite ours during our stay so we could not even rest after the long drive we had that day. Plumbing was bad, too. The flush did not work properly and we were glad we did not have to do any " big business". But we just wanted to sleep and not call reception and have to wait for a handyman. Since the door of the room with the renovation was open all night my husband - just out of curiosity - tried flushing the toilet there (no, he did not use it) - same thing - the water rose high and took minutes to flush.The next morning while checking out no one asked us about our stay anyway and when we told them about the plumbing issues they just said thanks for letting them know, no apologies or anything.And we were charged a higher rate than we had in writing from booking.com: they charged us for the upgrade that was supposed to be free of charge and which we did not ask for ($212 including hold of $25 for incidentals instead of $161). I am glad we get alerts for our credit card payments, so we could sort it out right away. But again, no apologies because of course they said it was booking.com's mistake, not the hotel's although we had the price and room type in writing on the app.So overall we did not have a great stay.

Liked: Separate “living” room and “bedroom” better for traveling with daughter and her female friend big King sized bed

Liked: Clean, breakfast was delicious and great variety.Check In was quick and easy
Disliked: Water took a few mints to warm up in the shower but after 5 minutes it was great
