Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown Across from Circle Centre

Very nice rooms and lobby. Breakfast had tons of options but needs more for dieters and diabetics.

The hotel was mostly what you'd expect for a Hampton: quite clean, good breakfast, relatively comfortable bed (mattress felt a bit well-worn, though), polite staff. The price was very good considering how close it is to the convention center. The hotel's website was kind enough to note that the breakfast/lobby area would be under construction, though I didn't find that to be a problem. What I did find to be a problem, though, was something that I wasn't warned about: there's a Hard Rock Cafe directly across the street. On a Thursday night, a live band played from 8:00 pm until long after midnight. As both establishments had very thin walls, the sound level in my room was annoyingly loud. I called the front desk to see what the story was and was told that yes, this is normal, but that it would be done by 11:00 pm. Nope. Great hotel to stay at if there's no band at the Hard Rock or if you don't mind going to sleep after 1:00 am. Otherwise, skip it.

The hot breakfast is amazing and the hours are generous. They are updating the space and they keep hot coffee available 24 hours a day. The front desk, housekeeping, and bell staff were very courteous and remembered us during our stay. The room was clean and had a great view of downtown. I would not put my car in the hands of the valets but there are garages and lot parking nearby.

GREAT LOCATION! Clean facilty and room, courteous staff, good night's sleep and easy checkout. We would stay here again in the future.
