We unfortunately had to leave the hotel early as we had a family emergency at home. We literally checked in and had to leave two hours later. Unfortunately, because we booked through a booking agency, we were unable to get any of our money back. I think this is a standard or policy that needs to be changed.

Liked: Nice, clean hotel in a great location.
Disliked: Drastically overpriced, especially in April.. Arrived to find that while the hotel claims 2 queen beds can somehow fit 5 people, they most certainly cannot! We were fortunate that they had a cot they could wheel up to our room...for, you guessed it, an additional charge. Wasn't the worst stay I've ever had in Duluth, but we will probably just book an Air BnB next time. This was a waste of money.

Disliked: Mattress was lumpy bumpy.Thats my only complaint.

Liked: You can't beat the location! It's steps to the Boardwalk with easy walking to everything on the Canal. Breakfast with a view! After a day of walking, the hottub was a treat. There's no reason to even turn on a TV. Just open the window.
Disliked: My husband says he can't think of a thing!!

Coming to Hampton Inn Canal...

Liked: I’ve been coming here since a kid and over the 20 years this place has continued to upgrade overtime i love taking my girlfriend here and spending time at the Hampton inn canal if i could afford to go more I’d be up there all the time!
Disliked: It wasn’t the end of the world or really a big deal i wouldn’t say i didn’t like it but being by the room on the corner next to the storage room and stairs you heard ton of noise that kept you up through out the night but truly wasn’t that big of a deal!
