Perfect location to downtown area, Convention Center, and Visitor Center. The bed was very comfortable; A/C worked great; hotel lobby cookies were a great snack. The snack bar prices were priced well. Overall I would stay there again.

Liked: Staff was excellent and very helpful. Fitness center was great and was needed after eating all that excellent southern cooking.
Disliked: None to report.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Savannah! It was beautiful, hotel staff was very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the concert at the Civic Center, which was right across the street!! We will be back!!

Disliked: Parking should be included. For $300 per night, I should not have to pay so much to park. Also, there was no hot water during one night. This is not acceptable at this high rate per night. We had walked around the city all day and we needed to have hot showers. Very annoying.

Liked: Breakfast was not good.Location was fair.Did not get checked in until 5:30! Check in is 4:00.Our room was not cleaned the entire stay. We had NO fresh towels. The trash was not removed. No new coffee packs or soap brought in. You had to flush the toilet 2 to 3 times for it to flush out. The noise above us and in the room beside us was terrible.We knew they only cleaned every other day but at 5:00 PM the day they were to come in our room had not been touched. I tried calling the front desk for over an hour and no one answered. The housekeeping mailbox was full. Finally around 6:30 we were assured our room would be cleaned. We went to dinner. At 8:30 PM we had some towels on the sofa and a couple on the bathroom cleaner. Both trash and were still overflowing. No soap. No coffee. Nothing had been touched. Tried calling the front desk again with no answer. There were people still trying to get in their rooms at 6:45. They told us there were no sheets for the beds??????Our visit was a nightmare. This hotel is very poorly managed. We actually saw the maids in 2 rooms with the tv’s on watching them.We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and have never seen such chaos. No professional employees. No apologies. No nothing. We spent $1300.00 and had Motel 6 experience. Totally unacceptable. Had to park at Embassy Suites parking garage. Walk through their lobby to walk back to Hampton Inn.
Disliked: Everything! A different hotel.They did not give you an option about cleaning your room. A sign in the bathroom said every other day. That was fine but if you need clean towels and more coffee they should get you some. We checked in on Wednesday and out on Saturday. When we finally talked with the front desk on Friday they told us housekeeping would be in on Saturday. We were leaving on Saturday. $1300 and you never see housekeeping. Two tour buses were there and all of their rooms were ready by 4:00 to check in. No place to sit down for breakfast. I’m sorry I sound so negative. I have never written this type of review.
