It was a special Christmas...

Pretty place, very nice staff...

Liked: Very expensive, room was large but not enough beds for family of 5 my son had to sleep on the couch. Paid a lot of money a night and nothing is included. no balcony or activities or things for kids to do. Mostly for older crowd but rooms were large.
Disliked: price and that there is nothing to do on property if you have kids.

Liked: A beautiful location in an old mansion (monastery at one point). We enjoyed looking out over the lake and the property has some nice walking areas, including down to their boat shed. Plus a very good restaurant. And the area is truly stunning including the various vineyards to taste at.
Disliked: Be careful which rooms you get if you have any disability - ours was up a 1 1/2 flights of stairs which was difficult given my husband had hurt his hip. So it was a real climb.

Exceptional

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and had a wonderful time.

Liked: We only had dinner in the restaurant but it was excellent. We would like to come back in the summer to see the gardens more with flowers and enjoy the pool.
Disliked: My husband & I are both disabled and had great difficulty doing the stairs to get to our room, even though it was only on the second floor. We will try to get something on the first floor next time.

Very delightful

Liked: Excellent location and ambiance. Lake Seneca is beautiful.
Disliked: Beds could be wider, although I realize there is no space for a king or queen size bed.
