When renovations are complete this will be an acceptable hotel for visiting the Manhattan/K-State area. At this time, there is still much work to be done and you are truly limited to your room for entertaining. The lobby, the pool, the morning breakfast area and the recreation area are all under construction. If we hadn't already paid for our room, we would not have stayed for the entire booking period, we would have checked out upon checking in. This is not a two star hotel at this time.

The hotel is converting to a Sheraton hotel (so we were told) and there's remodeling going on everywhere. The hotel has is not new, so the remodeling would probably be a good idea. The lobby had a number of areas closed for construction but one would assume they'll be open eventually although we saw no evidence of any construction workers. They've begun remodeling the rooms, but in our room there was no door on the closet area even though there was trim for a door. The AC didn't work very well and when I mentioned it upon checking out the clerk told me that they were having problems with the AC throughout the hotel. The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel is located on a main street and about 5-10 minutes from downtown Manhattan and about the same distance from Kansas State University.
