Disliked: Bed was way too hard. After three night I am scheduling a chiropractor app.

Overall, it was a good...

Liked: The breakfast was good. I couldn't eat much as I had medical tests upcoming. I was disappointed when I discovered a burned out light bulb and I couldn't get it replaced that night. the room could have used better lighting.The room was nice and the area was okay, a little further from the Mayo Clinic than I had hoped, but still a nice facility. I will seriously consider staying there again.
Disliked: The night staff's reluctance to replace a light bulb that was burned out.

Convenient - friendly - quiet...

Liked: We had to leave early for medical appointment and could not eat before the procedure

Overall, it is a good...

Liked: Located close to Mayo campus. Plenty to do and eat in a short driving distance (not a really walk-friendly area). Price was not crazy, but by no means cheap. Felt new and importantly was overall very clean. Good hours on the continental breakfast.
Disliked: Small pool. Shaky elevator when going to 4th floor. The room AC/heating unit was quite noisy (rattly) until we pushed something against it, then wasn't noticeable.

Accommodations very good as usual,...

Liked: The accommodations were very nice; no problem with them
Disliked: I was extremely unhappy about two things:First, when I arrived around 7:40 on Saturday night there was only a sign at the front desk saying the receptionist would be back shortly. It was at least 20 minutes and then she answered a phone call in the middle of checking us in and made us wait another 5 minutes.Secondly, I was asked to pay $50 extra for my dog. When I booked this online there was no mention of a fee for a dog, just that it was a dog friendly hotel and dogs were allowed in the room. Other hotels state that there is a fee and what it is, so I did not choose them. This hidden fee was very upsetting to an already high cost so I would not have stayed there if I had known that.

I would stay here again.
