Liked: Good location with easy parking and good size room, the check in staff was reasonably friendly.
Disliked: The property is looking tired and a bit messy.

Ok for the price.
Liked: Good value. Close to lots of retail and restaurants.
Disliked: Free breakfast was just grab and go with granola bars and muffins. No breakfast room to sit down. Lobby doors were not automatic which made it difficult to move luggage in and out.

Awful
Liked: Location
Disliked: I had to switch my room the moment I walked in! The awful smell of wet dog urine, not to mention the neighbors smoking marijuana. The sink had clogged, boogers in the shower wall were disgusting. It was not worth the price paid for! I do not recommend this place.

Worst hotel experience I've ever...
Liked: The water was hot.
Disliked: Drugs were left in my room, full fridge of old expired food. ID and social security card was found. Bathroom had no shampoo or soap, toilet has pee in it. 6 keys were tried and I couldn't get into my room. Manager let me in and I was told not to leave the room since I didn't have a key that worked.

Liked: I didn’t like anything at this place…awful experience
Disliked: This place is a breeding grounds for disease, drug use, the homeless and fire hazards. Felt more like a halfway house than a hotel I could use as a home away from home for my 10 days in SLC. I literally had to clean and mop the room myself. To name a few concerns, I found breaded chicken crumbs everywhere, cereal on the floor, spilled coffee, as well as leftover soap scum and a plethora of hair from the previous guest all over the shower. The bathroom sink didn’t drain even after 10 minutes of waiting. The smoking crowd staying here is on a rotating schedule at all hours of the day/night and positioned directly in front of the entrance to the lobby. The staff doesn’t ask them to move and they’re not just smoking cigarettes if you catch my drift. In addition to cigarettes smoke, I smelled weed and a “chemical” odor frequently and as early as 6am. When I entered the room, the burner had been left ON, but was in the OFF position. I’m sure the Fire Marshall will have something to say about this. As if things weren’t bad enough, about 30 minutes after my check in, the Police were in the lobby dropping off a homeless woman who had accused another person of domestic abuse and was looking for a free place to to stay. When I asked the staff about this, they implied she was a regular fixture at the hotel and had seen her there before with a questionable and similar story. On multiple occasions, there were blood curdling screams and loud thumps coming from the floor above me. It was clearly an altercation and not an act of passion…At one point this lasted for almost 2 hours. When I called the front desk, I was told “quiet hours didn’t start until 10pm”. That was the last straw for me. I immediately vacated the premises and was told booking.com would have to refund me, even though they refunded me earlier for having to clean my own room.
