Very good

Liked: The location of the hotel was great.
Disliked: It took several minutes before anyone came to the front desk to check us in. In addition, some appliances barely worked. the hotel was loud and had a faint odor.

Exceptional

Liked: low price. free breakfast.
Disliked: Lock to room didn't work. Then there was the hoodlum hanging around the lobby entrance yelling at me across the parking lot for a "light!" Really!? I would hardly expect a third world experience in Columbia MD.

The worst hotel experience of...

Liked: The receptionist was nice. She was friendly & professional.
Disliked: I usually see the bright side of things, but where do I begin of how bad this was??? 1. The room that I booked smelled like urine....she gave us another room, thank goodness! 2. The 3 pillows were poor quality & too way small (like child pillows) 3. The hallways were dirty 4. The kitchen faucet dripped 5. The 'breakfast'...had 4 ants in the cup for tea. 6. The building badly needed TLC (painting, new furniture, etc...) 6. I asked the receptionist for more pillows, offered to pay, she said she couldn't do it.

Liked: It was in a great location, front desk gentleman was super nice. Room was clean, and comfortable, . Excellent value, definitely couldn't get a better deal anywhere.
