We reserved our room online and chose the 2 double bed options. Family of 4 with 2 small children...reminded the worker at check-in that we had 2 double beds and we were still placed in a room with a King and pull out sofa in the sitting room. Needless for say, for those of you that have small kids- putting a 4 year old and a 1 year old in another room by the front door (which unlocks when you open the door from the inside) separated by a mini kitchen is not the best idea. The hotel had no other rooms so we had to make do- my husband spept with one child and I slept with the other. We've stayed at Embassy Suites in Montgomery before without the kids and it was great, so we were very disappointed with this experience. At least, we should have been told at checkin that our room wasn't available.

Overnight stay in Montgomery, never...

Liked: It is hard to find something we enjoyed. The breakfast was decent and the location is good.
Disliked: The hotel is dirty and run down. The worst hotel we have stayed in over the past years. We were first given a room (224) that smelled like an ash tray, had a broken front door and a whole in the door to the bed room. Absolutely unacceptable and at no point understandable to offer it to guest. This shows a total lack of quality standards! We asked for another room, that could obviously not be worse. It smelled like pot, was in a bad condition, but better than the first and we were glad to only stay one night. Never would I go back to this place. I added a photo of the gate at the parking that is sympathetic for the condition of the hotel.

Liked: I liked the location.
Disliked: The hallway floors and lobby area was very dirty . Elevators very dirty. Floors needed to be mopped. Had trash in the water feature inside. . Found a finger nail in our bed .. The lighted mirror in bathroom had dust falling out of it. A booty print on bedroom window. Notice signs in parking lot saying not responsible for your car. But charged you to park in there parking a lot on top of us paying for our room. The trash cans out side of the main entrance was full. Overall stay very disappointed for the Embassy Suites by Hilton. Won't be booking with this establishment again

Passable

Liked: The breakfast was great with plenty of options. The rooms were clean, and up to date. The staff was attentive.
Disliked: I booked for a 2x double bed suite. We were given a king suite. When asking how to resolve this we were told there was nothing that could be done for the first night, but to come down the next morning. I went down the next morning, added my name to a list that had one other person on it and was told I would receive a call when they had something come available. I never received a call and we were stuck in the same, incorrect, room again, for a second night. Very disappointing.

Pleasant

Liked: We were there for ACAP testing. The convenience were good. I love that the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The room needs a major update. The bathroom fixtures were loose, the safe in the closet had a disconnected dial pad on the floor, there were stains on the TV in the bedroom, the room had an odor, the bathroom fan didn't work, the tub looked like it had mold in it and was not clean looking. There was more fresh caulk around the toilet than the tub. Hope you all renovate it soon.

Liked: Hotel was beautiful. Appreciated the bar after a full day drive. Breakfast with fresh omelettes was phenomenal.

Great place, room was great,...

Liked: Breakfast was good! Actually had scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, fruit & a lot more to choose from. Was very impressed with Breakfast. Location of hotel was great and walking distance to all the places we needed and wanted to go. Never moved my car once it was parked. Several great restaurants in this area and all walking distance. Enjoyed the restaurant & bar inside the hotel as well
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a book with all the numbers or extensions you needed to call for room service, etc. and info about the hotel,WiFi, etc but there was nothing . It would be great to have local attractions & restaurants info in the room also but nothing.
