Disliked: We were on 2nd floor that allowed dogs and one night 3 dogs barked for 1/2 hr at 1am. We should have been located on another floor or at least given the option of room locations.One day needed clean drinking glasses and towel, then told had to go to the front desk and get myself. But then staff provided items.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Location was good. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: There was a bad smell when the fan for the a/c unit came on. It actually smelled like urine. Front desk guy said they'd replace a filter while we were out, but it smelled like they just sprinked some carpet deodorizer powder in it. This somewhat helped, but not for our entire 4 night stay.Bathroom fixtures are gross...they look caked with lime, or a coating is coming off. Tub looks permanently dirty.Mini-fridge wasn't working. Breakfast not worth the price. Parking fee is exorbitant. Overall, we felt like we were at a Days Inn than a Doubletree. We stayed here 8 years ago and had a wonderful experience, so this was a disappointment.

Liked: Breakfast was fine. Location is good for being within walking distance to historical area. Stopped in bar for a nightcap & snack each night. Bartender was friendly & made good drinks first 2 nights. 3rd night was someone who admitted to not being a bartender. Nice guy who tried hard. Desk staff friendly & helpful. Really appreciated the complimentary water. Thank you! Rooms nice.
Disliked: Shower floor could use a good scrubbing. Mold on some edging& under wallpaper peeling near floor.Should not need to pay for parking, but at least lower the fee.
